Configuration Management (CM)
Developing complex products, manufacturing and maintaining them through their life requires managing
evolving product configurations embodying information developed by multiple groups inside the organization
and in the supply chain. The challenge of managing complex configurations can lead to costly errors and delays.
MEARS provides a comprehensive methodology for managing the configuration (hierarchical set of information)
of a product or system throughout its life.
Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
The CDRL module provides a collaborative, web-based solution to meet the daily demands of
Government Data Management departments. The CDRL module follows the standard DD Form 1423-1 format,
allowing Government users and Contractors to manage CDRLs and their deliveries via a tiered architecture
consisting of Sets, CDRLs, and Tracking Records. Approval items can easily be routed through the
Review module, keeping comments and dispositions unified with the CDRL process.
All phases of this CDRL lifecycle can be audited and exported into a variety of reports.
How MEARS Works
The MEARS Team works with your program to help identify key user roles and business practices.
Once these have been determined, we work to map your processes to the MEARS system functionality.
Training and support is then tailored to your program's specifications.
To help identify these user roles, we've provided our User Role Matrix below.
MEARS is flexible and easily allows users to hold multiple roles without deviating from industry standards.
