Full Operational Capacity
With our small and effective unit here and our reach-back capabilities to our headquarters at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, we are uniquely positioned to conduct applied research to protect, optimize and enhance Service Member psychological health, resilience and well-being.
You will see MRD-W team members at the Community Health Promotional Council, Senior Medical Council, and the Behavioral Health Process Action Team to name a few of the working groups we contribute to. We are actively engaged with senior leadership from Regional Health Command – Pacific, Madigan Army Medical Center, I Corps, 7th ID, and 1st Special Forces Group to address emerging behavioral health issues and develop research to support the health and readiness of the force.
