Established in 1960, the Fife and Drum Corps is one of the United States Army 's premier bands. The Corps provides musical support to the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), the Army's official ceremonial unit and escort to the President of the United States. In addition to frequent performances at the White House, Pentagon, and military events throughout the Nation's Capitol, the Fife and Drum Corps serves as a representative of the United States Army, regularly entertaining audiences at both national and international events.
