A Musical Revolution

A Musical Revolution is a dynamic presentation on the Traditions of Military Field Music and provides an opportunity for the Fife and Drum Corps to explain the history of its instruments and the capacity in which they are used today. The performance brings to life historical repertoire dating to the Revolutionary War and also presents modern versions of traditional tunes that have been adapted for the Corps’ modern day mission.

The Corps has appeared at numerous colleges and universities, music festivals, and professional conferences. Some highlights include the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, the International Trumpet Guild Conference, and the National Flute Association’s Annual Convention.

The Educational Outreach Chamber Ensemble consists of members of the Corps with various educational backgrounds from traditional fife and drum to classically trained musicians. This unique combination of highly talented musicians affords us the opportunity to share this important part of our Nation’s heritage with audiences from all over the world.
