During the last ten years, members of the EDJ team have managed several highly-visible national initiatives on behalf of the U.S. Department of Human Services, including the identification and replication of innovative community-based health improvement programs; supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in its nationwide efforts to provide regional, state, and local public health and emergency preparedness experts with information/training on the risk communication strategies for managing a public health emergency; providing program support for the Office of Minority Health to assist in the establishment of community-level strategic planning and health disparities elimination programs; and, the development and coordination of individualized capacity building assistance programs for community- and faith-based organizations on the frontlines in our nation's battle against HIV/AIDS.
Through these and other projects, EDJ has established a solid reputation for analyzing complex data, then translating it into a user-friendly format that informs public policy and transforms local healthcare delivery systems.
As a result of its interest in supporting both domestic and global health initiatives, EDJ has assembled a cadre of more than 60 subject matter experts to develop high-quality products and provide professional services which organize knowledge into actions and solutions. Our areas of expertise include:
