Course Title: Pathways Programs Professional Development Series

Course Description: Join the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Recruitment Policy and Outreach team for a web-based professional development series to enhance understanding of and provide helpful guidelines for the successful implementation of the Pathways Programs. Topics include: Background, Description of Programs, Program Requirements, Workforce Planning; Classification, Qualifications, and Assessments; Collaboration between Hiring Officials and Human Resources Professionals; Recruitment and Outreach; Public Notification; Staffing; and Onboarding. This interactive webinar series was designed for individuals who are interested in getting foundational information about the Pathways Programs.

Objectives: At the end of this webinar series, attendees will be able to:

• Understand the Schedule D hiring authority - Pathways Programs
• Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with pools of critical talent
• Encourage collaboration between hiring managers, HR staff, and Pathways Programs Officers (PPOs).
