Committees

Executive Committee
The TAM Executive Committee is a subset of the TAM Board of Commissioners which meets on the second Monday of the month in TAM's offices. 

Citizens' Oversight Committee  The Citizens' Oversight Committee reviews all sales tax-related expenditures of TAM and reports directly to the public.

Technical Advisory Committee  The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is charged with making recommendations to TAM on the prioritization of certain investments as described in TAM's Measure A half-cent Transportation Sales Tax Expenditure Plan and to undertake other technical reviews as requested by the TAM Board of Commissioners.

TAM Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee
The BPAC is an advisory committee to TAM's Executive Director that meets on a quarterly basis.  It was established in May 2008 as mandated by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) to advise on candidate project applications for State Transportation Development Act Article 3 funds administered by the Commission, for applications for funding under MTC's Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Program (RBPP) and for assisting in the implementation of "routine accommodation."

TPLUS Advisory Committee
A local TPLUS Advisory Committee (TPLUS AC) was formed to maximize community participation by local elected officials, staff members, residents, and other Marin County stakeholders in this process and includes a diverse membership representing interests in housing and transportation issues in Marin County and the region.  The TPLUS AC will support the development of the TLC/HIP and the preparation of the TOD/PeD Toolkit by contributing community perspective on program goals, draft program elements, and Toolkit contents.

State Route (SR) 37 Policy Committee

The SR 37 Policy Committee is a multi-county committee with policy makers participating from Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. The SR 37 Policy Committee was formed in 2015 as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to discuss joint county efforts in improving the SR 37 Corridor to address sea level rise, traffic congestions, transit options and recreational activities.

Committee Schedule
The committee meets at 9:30 a.m. the first Thursday of every other month (odd numbered months). The location varies between the partner counties. Please see the Calendar Page on the TAM website for details.
