Definitions of class types:

eLearning: Instructor-led demonstration via web and phone. This class type does not include hands-on instruction. Participants may join from their home site with phone and computer/internet access.
eLearning/Hands-on: Instructor-led demonstration and hands-on via web and phone. Some sessions provide access to an OIT training environment while others require access to a home training environment or test patient. Participants may join from their home site with phone and computer/internet access.
Classroom: In-person instructor-led lecture and hands-on in an OIT training environment. Participants must be in the classroom to participate.
Satellite Classroom: Area provided proctor supports an instructor teaching via web and phone. This class type includes hands-on in an OIT training environment. Participants must be in the classroom to participate.

Basic Site Manager

Prerequisite: Student must be a new RPMS Site Manager [Administrator] or assistant [back up] site manager.

Description: This five day course is designed to provide Site Managers with the basic knowledge and skills to manage their facility’s RPMS system on a daily basis. The course will cover basic RPMS management functions, utilities, operations, security, and identifying, troubleshooting and resolving common Caché, hardware, and software problems. Students will learn the skills to create and modify menus, add new and edit existing users, monitor and tune scheduled RPMS tasks, identify and resolve programming system errors, and manage RPMS devices.

EHR CAC Informatics - Classroom

Prerequisite: Clinical Application Coordinators [CAC], Pharmacy Informaticists, Clinical Informaticists, Health Information Management [HIM] Professionals, and Information Technology [IT] Specialists with a background in the Resource Patient Management System Electronic Health Record [RPMS-EHR. It is strongly recommended that participants also have access to their facility’s RPMS EHR system or a training RPMS EHR system [roll and scroll, EHR GUI] as the Clinical Applications Coordinator [CAC] and/or Chief, MIS User Class.

Certificates of attendance will be awarded upon completion to those who have both registered for this activity AND "signed-in" to the Adobe Connect Session Attendance Pod with Last Name, First Name, Credentials, and Location.

Description: Let’s get “Back-to-Basics”! It’s been over 10 years since RPMS EHR was first introduced and many Clinical Application Coordinators [CAC], Pharmacy Informaticists, Lab & Radiology Informaticists, Information Technology [IT] Professionals, and Health Information Management [HIM] Professionals who were originally instrumental in setting up the RPMS applications and parameters are long gone…and so is their expertise!!! The “EHR CAC Informatics” series is offering a succession of Back-to-Basics trainings to compare and contrast RPMS configuration and realign for optimal performance and workflow. The course will be offered on Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Mountain Time. Space is limited to 200 Attendees. It is expected that participants will provide 100% of their attention and attend the entire five days. Office Hours will be scheduled as needed for those who seek individualized assistance for problem solving and trouble shooting.

EHR CAC Informatics- eLearning/Remote

Prerequisite: Clinical Application Coordinators [CAC], Pharmacy Informaticists, Clinical Informaticists, Health Information Management [HIM] Professionals, and Information Technology [IT] Specialists with a background in the Resource Patient Management System Electronic Health Record [RPMS-EHR. Each participant must have access to a computer with internet connection and a separate telephone line to dial into the web conferencing number. Participants must have access to their facility’s RPMS EHR system or a training RPMS EHR system [roll and scroll, EHR GUI] as the Clinical Applications Coordinator [CAC] and/or Chief, MIS User Class. Participants are strongly encouraged to connect using a computer that has two monitors attached.

RPMS Suicide Reporting Form - eLearning

Description: This training will focus on documentation of incidents of suicide, including ideation with plan and intent, attempts and completions using the RPMS Suicide Reporting Form [SRF].
