Public Affairs Office

The Presidio of Monterey Garrison Public Affairs Office provides timely and accurate information about the Presidio of Monterey, its facilities, people and missions to the public and members of the news media. The Public Affairs Office provides effective two-way communications with our internal and external audiences. The Public Affairs staff advises the installation commander and the garrison commander, and executes the commanders' community relations, media relations, public information and command information programs. The Chief, Public Affairs is the commander's sole release authority and acts as spokesperson for the installation commander and the garrison commander.
