Transportation Cooperative Research Programs

Transportation Cooperative Research Programs

DOT awards Cooperative Research Program contracts through an annual solicitation process. Programs include the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP), the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP), the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), the National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP), and the Hazardous Materials Cooperative Research Program (HMCRP). The goal of these programs is to develop near-term, practical solutions to problems faced by transportation agencies.
