For Kids
NOAA has teamed up with the award-winning, non-profit organization Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) to help educators and students (ages 8 to 12 years) achieve a greater understanding of environmental literacy and stewardship in support of healthy marine ecosystems and their habitats.
Since the partnership began in 1998, we have educated nearly 1 million children through our publications. Five of seven booklets are award-winning publications recognized by the Association of Education Publishers and Independent Publishers. Complimentary booklets are available for students and educators through NOAA Outreach Unit while larger quantities can be purchased through Project WET.
