James "Jimmy" Knowles, Adaptive Management Group Manager

Jimmy began working with the Bureau of Reclamation in 2014 and served as a project manager/agricultural engineer for the LCR MSCP's Restoration Group until May of 2016 when he accepted the position of Adaptive Management Group Manager. He received his B.S. from the University of Florida in 1997. He also has a Master of Forest Resources and Conservation degree (Agroforestry) from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Reclamation he spent eight years as an agricultural engineer/research coordinator at one of the University of Florida's agricultural research and education centers. He also spent over three years (2000 - 2004) in Bolivia as a natural resources management volunteer with the Peace Corps.
