Carolyn (Carrie) Ronning, Wildlife Group Manager (LC-8200)

Carrie has been with the Bureau of Reclamation since October 2013. She has 17 years’ experience as a natural resource biologist and habitat conservation planner specializing in endangered and sensitive species. Prior to work at Reclamation, she served for 10 years as a wildlife biologist and natural resource specialist for the Bureau of Land Management, and the previous 13 years as a wildlife biologist, GIS analyst, project manager and educator. She has worked in both urban and rural communities on projects including oil and gas production, energy transmission, land disposals and leases, travel and transportation planning and monitoring, military infrastructure and testing, compliance monitoring, GIS implementation and design, and regional conservation planning. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Natural History of Vertebrates and Wildlife Conservation and graduate work in Education.
