FAPIIS is a web-enabled application that is used to collect contractor and grantee performance information including Terminations for Cause or Default, Defective Cost and Pricing Data, Determinations of Non-Responsibility, Terminations for Material Failure to Comply (grants), Recipient Not Qualified Determinations (grants), DoD Determination of Contractor Fault, Administrative Agreements, Information on Trafficking in Persons, and Subcontractor Payment Issues. Once records are completed in FAPIIS, they become available in the Federal Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) where they are used to support future acquisitions.
