Subscribing to reports by email enables quick and timely access to the agricultural and economic estimates that are available in the reports section of this system.
Select "My Subscriptions" on the top right of the navigation bar. If you are not a registered user, you'll need to register. Once you're registered, you'll need to login. If you need further assistance, please see Subscriptions in the help section.
If a report or dataset has pending or scheduled release dates, a "Pending Releases" section with future release dates will be visible on the report page.
Also you may view all reports and datasets scheduled for release on a specified date by using "Release Dates" in the top navigation bar.
All ERS, NASS and WAOB printed reports are available from the ERS-NASS sales order desk. A list of NASS reports and their subscription prices along with ERS periodicals are listed on the inside back cover of the ERS-NASS Catalog. Prices vary by report. The ERS-NASS Catalog is available on the Internet and in print. The printed version is published annually and is available from the ERS-NASS Order Desk by dialing 1-800-999-6779.
When you choose a dataset, you often get a list of numbered tables or files to choose from. Often, you cannot tell what file contains your data by looking at the name of the file alone. To see what data is contained in these files, you must read the README file. For example, if you want data on consumption of pineapples, the README file will direct you to the data set called Food Consumption released by ERS. In the README file > Table/File of contents, you will see that the data for pineapples is in Table 25.
Often a subject-area data specialist with the USDA will be identified in the README file. Questions concerning the development or interpretation of datasets should be addressed to this individual.

The USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System contains nearly 2500 reports and datasets from several agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A short description, website and contact information for each agency is available on the home page of this website.
