Constituent Inquiries
In addition to responding to inquiries related to DSS operations and programs, the DSS Office of Legislative Affairs assists congressional offices in determining the status of a personnel or facility security clearance for their constituents. Inquiries may be sent as faxes, telephone inquiries or email directly from congressional district and personal offices.
Information that MUST be included in an inquiry request:
- Privacy Act Release Form with the constituent's signature
- Full name of the constituent
- Date of Birth
- Social Security Number
- Congressional office contact information including the email address and telephone number of the point of contact in the congressional office handling the inquiry.
