Risk

State Program Risk provides loss control and appraisal services for state agencies covered under the State Master Property Policies. Risk procures, by state bid, property, inland marine, boiler and machinery, auto liability, and special coverages for state agencies and negotiates renewals for each of the coverages.

School Program Risk provides loss control and appraisal services for school districts covered under the Arkansas Public School Insurance Trust. Risk procures, by state bid, property, inland marine, boiler and machinery, and auto liability for school districts and negotiates renewals for each of the coverages.

Fidelity Bond Program Risk provides staff for the Arkansas Governmental Bonding Board in the administration of the Arkansas Fidelity Bond Trust Fund Self-Insured Fidelity Bond Program. The Bond Program provides fidelity bond coverage for all state agencies, counties, municipalities and school districts.

The mission of the Risk Management Division is to minimize the cost of insurance and fidelity bonding to state agencies and participating school districts. Risk also analyzes and makes recommendations regarding cost effective loss control and safety programs in an effort to protect state assets.
