Data Call responses help ISDP identify software needs and determine appropriate software purchase quantities. Data Calls also assist in identifying new software needs through the ISDP product surveys. Accuracy and timeliness of information in response to Data Calls is necessary, as it allows the ISDP acquisition team to negotiate for the lowest pricing possible and to perform accurate purchases. Data Calls can also help agencies estimate and determine budgets for software procurement.
