"One Team, One Purpose"
As the Commander of the Weed Army Community Hospital I speak for the entire staff in Welcoming you to our Weed Army Community Hospital family on Fort Irwin, "One Team with One Purpose".

With a patient's total health and wellness in mind, it is our goal to provide you and your family the best course of action for a fast and proper diagnosis, a well-laid plan for treatment, proper follow-up and rehabilitation when needed.

Our institution is staffed by the finest medical practitioners, nursing and support staff. Each individual is committed to providing outstanding service and our patient satisfaction scores reflect our commitment. Our Army Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) satisfaction score has been ranked consistently high (averaging 95%). The WACH facilities and staff are consistently ranked among the highest in the Southern Regional Medical Command for overall patient satisfaction and continuity with Patient Care Management.

We achieve and maintain this high level of patient satisfaction in great part through your feed-back and I encourage you to use our ICE and WACH feedback cards as well as the APLLS surveys (often referred to as "Apples Surveys") an online assessment questionnaire to evaluate your treatment at WACH facilities.

I encourage you to explore our website for further details about our facilities and services as well as the latest news and updates regarding our hospital and clinics. For highlights and upcoming events the WACH staff and I invite you to become a frequent visitor and friend of our Facebook site located here:

Weed Army Community Hospital, Fort Irwin

Arrival and your first WACH appointment

All new patients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their first appointment to complete necessary forms and paperwork. You should also bring your TRICARE Card and Information Folder, your military or dependent Photo ID, a list of current medication you or your child is taking and a list of any questions or concerns you may have. There is ample parking around Weed Army Community Hospital facilities but finding them on Fort Irwin can sometimes proof tricky. See the Map provided on the navigation below and it's recommended you leave quarters early particularly the first time you visit the WACH.

Appointment scheduling and cancellations

Treating Patients and eliminating unnecessary waiting times are our constant goals at the WACH. We realize sometimes missing an appointment is unavoidable - but you can still help other patients by calling in as soon as possible. The sooner we have the information, the more likely another patient can be seen during that time. It's not only the neighborly thing to do - it's in your interest too! So don't be a No Show. Remember, "An Appointment Missed by You is an Appointment Missed by Two".
