Garrison CommanderColonel Lawrence Brown assumed command of the Presidio of Monterey on June 23, 2016.

Deputy to the Garrison CommanderIn this role the Deputy is the primary advisor to the Garrison Commander, Presidio of Monterey, on all matters involving installation management, to include the Ord Military Community. They are responsible for directing and managing the garrison staff.

Command Sergeant MajorThe Command Sergeant Major is the senior non-commisioned officer of the command at battalion or higher levels. The CSM carries out policies and standards on performance, training, appearance and conduct of enlisted personnel. The CSM gives advice and initiates recommendations to the commander and staff in matters pertaining to enlisted personnel. A unit, installation, or higher headquarters CSM directs the activities of that NCO support channel.
