Steering Committee

The Steering Committee for the Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Conservation Program (LCR MSCP) is an unincorporated association of water and power users, and others participating in the development and implementation of the LCR MSCP. The Steering Committee works with the LCR MSCP Program Manager to coordinate implementation of the program, and reviews certain matters and actions presented by the Program Manager, including those related to annual work plans and budgets, land and water acquisitions, and reports and responses to Congress and Federal and state regulatory agencies. The Steering Committee meets three times a year, or on an as-needed basis. For further information on Committee Members, By-Laws, the Funding and Management Agreement, or membership requirements documents, please see the Governance page.

Funding for the LCR MSCP is cost-shared between the Federal Government and program participants in Arizona, California, and Nevada. For more information about funding requirements and program accomplishment, please see the Funding page.

The LCR MSCP is governed by the Program Documents. These include the Habitat Conservation Plan, Biological Assessment, Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report, Funding and Management Agreement, Implementating Agreement, Biological Opinion, and Section 10 Permit. You can view these documents in the Regulatory Documents page.

Steering Committee meetings are open to the public. You can see the schedule of these meetings, as well as LCR MSCP events, on our Calendar here.

Agendas, minutes, and other documents from each Steering Committee meeting, including decisions, motions, and resolutions passed by the Steering Committee, are available on the Events/Meetings page.

Annual Work Plans for the LCR MSCP describe work tasks for each fiscal year. These documents, as well as technical reports for each project, are centralized on the Work Plans/Reports/Tasks page.
