TAXONOMY HELP
The taxonomy codes allow a single provider (individual, group or institution) to identify their areas of specialization. Providers may have one or more areas of specialization. If a provider has more than one area of specialization, the taxonomy code for the area they specialize in is referred to as the Primary Provider Taxonomy Code.
