The Office of EEO Programs serves as the proponent within MEDCOM for various EEO-related programs and activities. Information on each of these programs is disseminated to commanders of all MEDCOM Regional Medical Commands, Major Subordinate Commands, and servicing EEO Offices. Participation in each of the programs is encouraged and guidance provided for submission of requests or nominations, as required.

Department of Defense Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) for College Students with Disabilities

The WRP is one example of the programs promoted annually throughout MEDCOM.
The WRP, co-sponsored by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy, provides salaries and work years to support a limited number of summer jobs for college students with disabilities at DoD activities nationwide.  Servicing EEO Officers at your installation/activity can provide further information on the requirements for requesting DoD-funded spaces under the WRP.
