EEO MEDCOM Policies

The Office of EEO Programs is responsible for ensuring that viable and effective EEO services and programs are being provided to and implemented, respectively, for all MEDCOM personnel worldwide. Policy memorandums and implementing guidance are published or updated by the MEDCOM Commander and EEO Office Director and disseminated to all 71 servicing EEO Offices in CONUS and OCONUS.

Current EEO policies reference:
  • The Equal Employment Opportunity Program
  • Prevention of Sexual Harassment
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Reasonable Accommodation
  • Minority College Relations Program

These policies or guidance are designed to comply with governing regulations published by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Defense, Department of Army, etc. Servicing EEO Offices are requested to review the procedures and responsibilities associated with each policy. And in the absence of any conflict with existing guidelines, EEO services are to be administered for MEDCOM personnel in accordance with the MEDCOM policies. The MEDCOM Office of EEO Programs monitors adherence to these policies during the conduct of compliance visits.

Further information regarding these policies can be obtained by contacting the servicing EEO Office at your installation/activity or the MEDCOM Office of EEO Programs. (CAC Users)
