Apache Flats

Apache Flats RV Resort at Fort Huachuca offers 50 oversized concrete drive-thru pads, with 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, 50-channel cable TV, picnic tables and barbecue grill. There are showers and restrooms, and coin operated laundry on site. The resort is located at the base of the Huachuca Mountains offering beautiful views and a paradise for bird lovers and hikers

Arts and Crafts

Crafts and more is what is in store for you here. This multipurpose shop provides facilities, tools and instruction for programmed activities to explore a variety of creative areas. Some of the popular subjects offered are photography, silver-smithing, lapidary, framing and ceramics just to name a few. Class fees are charged for most programmed activities, as posted or announced.

The center is open from Noon to 8:00p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility is closed on Sunday and Monday. For more information call 533-2015. For information on specific Arts and Crafts activities please visit their website.

Buffalo Corral

Located in the rustic foothills of Fort Huachuca, Buffalo Corral Riding Stables has horses to rent for groups or individuals by the hour. Horses are also available to lease by the month at reasonable rates. Privately owned horses may be boarded in a private mount area at an affordable price. there are 8 turn outs and a turn out pasture, Pens are 16x32 partially covered, and tack rooms are also provided. Western riding lessons are offered for all skill levels. Guided trail rides through the scenic Huachuca Mountains are offered on a weekly basis. Don’t miss our annual ride to historic Tombstone AZ. Each October in conjunction with Helldorado Days. Hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, 9 A.M. - 4 P.M. the last horse out for open riding is 2:45.

Desert Lanes

Desert Lanes Bowling Center houses 24 lanes with automated scoring, pro shop, game room and eating facilities. Summer and winter leagues for men, women, youth, seniors and mixed participation are available. Rock 300 rolls every Saturday night. Lots of great music, neon lights and bowling make this a fun night out you wont want to miss. We offer open bowling seven days a week, Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.

Jeannie's Diner

A casual, quick service 50's-60's style restaurant located in the Desert Lanes Bowling Center, we offer Breakfast cooked to order Monday though Saturday. Mountain View Golf

Mountain View Golf Course offers 18 scenic holes, a putting green, driving range and a par-3 practice hole. The Pro Shop offers a wide variety of equipment, accessories and clothing. Rental equipment such as clubs and carts are also available. Facilities and services include men’s and woman’s locker rooms, a clubhouse and lessons by the course professional. You can get a quick bite to eat at the 19th Hole Clubhouse. The course is open to the public for more information call 533-7088.

MWR Rents

MWR Rents offers a variety of sporting and outdoor recreational equipment including RV's camping trailers, camping gear, boats of all sizes and styles, boat motors, barbecue grills, canopies, tables and chairs plus RV storage. We also offer camping and picnic sites in Lower Garden Canyon area. We are located in Bldg 70914 on Irwin Street and are open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call us at 533-6707.

Sportman's Center

Enjoy a variety of Outdoor Activities at the Sportsman’s Center. Come shoot at our Skeet & Trap ranges, play paintball, practice on the pistol range or relax in our clubhouse. Our retail store offers an array of hunting equipment, gun accessories, ammunition, paintball equipment and paint. The Sportsman’s Center can special order a large selection of long guns and handguns at a very competitive price. Please stop by and visit us for a price quote. Thunder Mountain Activity Center

Thunder Mountain Activity Centre TMAC is located at Building 70525. The interior of the building has been completely remodeled and the patio area has also been renovated and newly landscaped. Newly-refurbished rooms and patio are available to rent for various events and activities. The rooms have been re-named, and include: the Ramsey Canyon Room, the Star Room, the Garden Canyon Room, the Vista Canyon Room, the Hummingbird Room, the Sunset Canyon Room and the Sierra Grand Ballroom. Capacities of the rooms range from 40 - 500 people, depending on the seating arrangement. The Hummingbird Room has been approved and can be reserved as a daycare area for use during a function. (TMAC does not provide daycare personnel, and the room is available only during functions at which no alcohol is served.) TMAC offers culinary excellence, a tasteful, pleasant atmosphere, classic gourmet catering and quality entertainment. For catering information and reservations, call 533-7322.
