USAG Ansbach School Liaison Officer

The school liaison officer is your communications link for the Schools and Child, Youth, and School (CYS) Services within U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. Through partnering with the local and military community, the school liaison officer assists in addressing educational issues within the garrison.

DoDDS School Lunch Program: Under the direction of the United States Department of Agriculture and the Department of Defense, the National School Lunch Program is offered to Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) students. Students from families whose income meets the eligibility criteria may receive reduced price or free meals at their school's cafeteria.

At USAG Ansbach the Free and Reduced Lunch Program is administered by CYSS and applications are taken at USAG Ansbach CYSS Parent Central Services.

If you qualify for this program, you must go to the AAFES Customer Service Desk at the Urlas Post Exchange and establish an account and be issued a Personal Identification Number. Families in the program must notify CYSS Parent Central Services of any decrease in household size or of increases in income of more than $50 per month or $600 per year.

To apply for this program, fill out the School Lunch Program Application (link provided to the right) and submit to CYSS Parent Central Services. Please attach one copy of the Sponsor's and Spouse's (if applicable) current leave and earnings statement. If you have any questions, contact the school liaison officer.
