FGA Mission Statement:
The Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (DPTMS), is
responsible for the Army Emergency Management programs in an all-hazard
approach to planning, preparation, response, and recovery actions.
Mission and Functions:
Direct and coordinate installation garrison operations and training support
activities while providing force protection, mobilization and demobilization
/ reserve component training support, force management, operational planning
and emergency operations functions, in order to provide a focused training
environment for FGA and other mission customers.

Provide C2 for emergency management response and consequence
management operations

Manage and schedule Live, Virtual and Constructive training
capabilities IAW III Corps priorities and policy, including ranges, training
areas, battle command training and training aids / devices

Provide Visual Information (VI) support including TV studio,
photography, audio production, presentation and graphics support
-
Supervise the execution of the Force Protection and Anti-terrorism
Program

Manage personnel security clearances, industrial security and
classified holdings functions

Develop and execute Installation Emergency Response and Consequence
Management Plans

Vision:
DPTMS prescribes policy and assigns responsibility for Army installation
force protection management, natural disasters, and related emergency
activities. DPTMS establishes policies, assigns responsibilities, and
prescribes procedures for developing, implementing, and sustaining emergency
actions and program guidance for Fort Greely (FGA) personnel, assigned
tenant units, and military/civilian family members. Providing quality
services and wants to be recognized as the 'BENCHMARK' to Emergency
Management. To be seen as a model organization within the IMCOM assets for
small garrison installations. DPTMS holds seven functions in the following

Methodology:
DPTMS employs a systematic integration approach to the Emergency Operations
Center (EOC) mission is to ensure Fort Greely's state of readiness and
recovery, by minimizing the effects of disrupting events through mitigation
planning, training, and response efforts. The EOC provides coordination for
response agencies during Real World and/or exercises to include providing
public education and awareness training.
