Patricia Houston

Mrs. Houston holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Wichita State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Baker University. She has previously held professional positions as a Program Specialist with the City of Wichita in Neighborhood Services and as the Statewide Project Director for the Marriage for Keeps program administered through Catholic Charities of Wichita. She currently volunteers as the Executive Director of Life Matters Ministries Incorporated whose current focus is fathers and families and the Director for the Kansas Southwest COGIC churches’ Urban Initiatives program.  She also assists the Mt. Olive Tabernacle of Praise church as an Administrative Assistant to the Pastor overseeing the Women, Youth and Children’s Ministries.  She has served on several boards and committees including Kansas African American Healthy Marriage Initiative, Youth Activity Advancement Alliance, Real Men Real Heroes, Kansas Community Education Association and the Pastors Wives’ Network.
