FRESC Research - Avian Ecology

Whether migrating thousands of miles or moving short distances, birds are integrators and indicators of environmental conditions. They are also ideal subjects for investigating migratory connectivity, the effects of contaminants, responses to environmental change, genetic differentiation, and other important biological questions. FRESC's avian ecology research includes these topics as well as raptor biology habitat connectivity, species at risk, management and conservation, and effects of climate change and land use.
