FRESC Research - Restoration & Monitoring

USGS's management partners often need to understand the status and trends of the biological resources under their stewardship. These managers also undertake habitat and ecosystem restoration projects to benefit these resources. FRESC scientists assist these partners by studying responses to restoration actions, developing monitoring frameworks and protocols, investigating data analysis and synthesis techniques, and integrating research and monitoring into adaptive management schemes.
