FY 2015 Accomplishments
ORS collected over $255 million in FY2015.
Child support collections totaled over $217 million. Of that amount, over $207.7 million was distributed to children and families, and over $9 million was distributed to reimburse State and Federal governments for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
Over $4.3 million was distributed to the Department of Human Services on behalf of Children in the State's care.
Over $33.1 million was collected on behalf of the Department of Health, Medicaid.
Social Security collections topped $719,000.
The state’s share of collections totaled over $2.67 million and was returned to the General Fund.
The percentage of child support cases with support orders established was 87.7%.
Paternity is an unresolved issue in only 3.8% of all child support cases.
ORS verified insurance coverage on 404,388 Medicaid Recipients, helping to avoid more than $183 million in Medicaid costs.
