Since 1972, the IAF has awarded 4,981 grants valued at more than $680 million. Our grantees undertake an array of initiatives that range from food production to community services. The majority of these projects focus on creating new economic opportunities for the poor, often by offering training in entrepreneurial and vocational skills that will allow communities to thrive.

Our Work features a map of active projects throughout Latin America and a list of current projects, organized by country. These sections are updated twice a year in order to accurately reflect both termination of projects as well as new funding actions .
Our Grant Making page contains statistics about our grants and results with a summary of the latest reports of projects' monitoring and evaluation. At the IAF we believe it is important to measure how we are doing. The Grantee Perception Report is the most recent document that evaluates our performance.
