AMS Policy Section 4.15.2
The safety, efficiency, & effectiveness of operational assets are evaluated periodically as a basis for sustaining & improving service delivery over time.
What Must be Done
Gather, analyze, and report availability, reliability, maintenance, and performance data; evaluate data to determine whether the operational asset can continue to meet user service needs; plan and execute corrective action when it cannot.
Who Does It
The Director of the performing service organization is responsible for conducting operational analysis.
Who Approves
Operational analysis guidance specifies how to gather, analyze & report results.
