What Must be Done

Test & evaluation is conducted to:

• Provide essential information is support of investment decision-making
• Assess technical and investment risk
• Verify and report whether performance specifications and objectives are attained
• Validate and report on solution operational effectiveness and suitability

Who Does It

Test team in support of the program office or service organization.

Who Approves

The Director of the test service team approves the Test and Evaluation Master Plan and the Final Operational Test Report for NAS investments.

Document templates specify other approval authorities.
