Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric Seymore | Command Chief Warrant Officer, Army South Carolina National Guard

Command Chief Warrant Officer assumed duties as the Command Chief Warrant Officer (CCWO) on 1 July 2011. As the CCWO, Seymore serves as the personal advisor to The Adjutant General for South Carolina for all Warrant Officer related issues and career management for Warrant Officers in the South Carolina National Guard.

CW5 Seymore joined the U S Army in 1970. After completion of basic training and flight school, CW5 Seymore flew with the 114th Assault Helicopter Company in Vinh Long, Viet Nam where he flew UH-1H and AH-1G helicopters. After returning from Viet Nam, CW5 Seymore joined the South Carolina Army National Guard in 1972.

CW5 Seymore has been Pilot in command of the UH-1H, UH-1 M, OH-58A+, AH-64A, and UH-72A aircraft. He has been married to the former Peggy Crowell for over 37 years and they have two sons, CPT W. Eric Seymore and 2LT Andrew Seymore who are serving in the South Carolina Army National Guard. CW5 Seymore and his wife are members of First Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina.
