Our South Carolina National Guard Government Relations Program strives to assist local, state and Federal government entities, elected officials and their staff with questions and/or concerns in a timely yet thorough manner. The South Carolina National Guard Government Relations program also assists local and state entities with Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) opportunities. The purpose of IRT is to provide mission essential training for units and personnel, while building upon the long-standing tradition of the South Carolina National Guard, acting as good neighbors at the local level, in applying military personnel to assist worthy civic and community needs.
